New digi release at Aurora Wings - Winter Lullaby

Hello, my dear friends :-)


Today, I'm glad to give you a look on my showcase blog interpretation of Mitzi Sato-Wiuff's brand new digistamp, "Winter Lullaby".

It was so fun to play with her!!


Now, would you take a look at my DT - work?

Colors: (CC =Copic Ciao, SN = Spectrum Noir)



Background: B99, B97, B95, BG72, BG10 (CC) / PL4, CG2 (SN)

Hair: B99, B97, BG72, BG10 (CC)

Skin: R00, YR00, E11, E33, RV42 (Cheeks) (CC)
Eye shaddow: V06 (CC) / HB1 (SN)

Lips: V06, R22 (CC) / HB1 (SN)

Flowers: PL4, HB1, CG1, CG2 (SN) / V06, BV23 (CC)

Owl: HB1, CG1 (SN) / V06, BV23 (CC)

For creating the background, I used the colors listed above - and in addition some Copic Cleaner.

I started coloring the background with the blue tones, than I dripped some Copic Cleaner on that.
After that, I added the purple and green tones by spotting them with my markers, used some Copic cleaner again, and added a little bit green to the resulted "bubbles".

Finally, some "bubbles" where given a 3-D effect with some Glossy Accent and a few little, white gemstones.

The papers are from Studiolight, the die cut is from Marianne Design.

A white paper flower, twig with fabric flower and some feathers....
(thought, they should go well with the owl on the image :-D)

...and at least, a little sentiment.
In English, it means like: "Daydreaming isn't wasted time, but recharging the soul."








So, I'll go recharging my soul now :-D
