New release "Sea Turtle Kiss" - Aurora Wings Showcase DT Work

Hello dear readers!

Today there's the release of an awesome new Aurora Wings digi stamp, called "Sea Turtle Kiss".
Awww, I love those little mer-kids, or however you will name them :-D

You can find this one and many, many other beautiful images on the AW Digital Stamps Shop or at Mitzi Sato-Wiuff's Etsy Shop.

I put the sweet little mermaid and her turtle friend on a card - take a look on my inspiration work for the cute digistamp (click the pics to enlarge):

I colored the image with a mixery of Spectrum Noir Markers and some Copic Markers, the lighter "sunbursts" at the background are made with Spectrum Noir Blender Pen.

Furthermore I added some bubbles with a black fineliner.

The bubbles are first gussied up with some Glossy Accents, then I put some blue "raindrops" on them.

Besides, I added some clear raindrops to the background, too.

Around the image, I gave it some glitter and sparkle with Shabby Blue Embossing Enamel.
I cut the frame around the image with a Tim Holtz cutting die ("On The Edge - Brackets") and got some texture paste on the edges.

..... just disposed the paste with my fingers.... :-D

The Embossing Enamel looks like little bubbles too, doesn't it?

The little twig at the right, under corner is from Stampin Up, the anchor stamp is from a Viva Decor stamp set.

I trimmed it with some Glossy Accents as well.

As I don't have any wave die cuts yet, and I also didn't want to hand cut some, I used some leavings from the edge - cutting from the brown background paper of the image for my "waves".

I put some texture paste on them again.

(By the way, the light blue backgroundpaper is from a Studiolight paper pad.)

The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy, die cut: Quickutz.

I've distressed the border around with Distress Ink Walnut Staind for an old, yellowed look.

Have a nice day and happy crafting :-)
