"Little Kitsune Anko" - New Aurora Wings digistamp release!

Hello ladies!

Today I'm gonna show you my designteam project for the Aurora Wings Showcase Blog, using the beautiful new release "Little Kitsune Anko".

This little sweetheart is available in two different versions, one with a blank kimono and one with a flowered one.

I choosed to play with the more detailed one - not a surprise, isn't it? :-D

For my project, I made a frame card using the instructions on Stempeleinmaleins:

I colored the image with Copic Ciao Markers, cut it out, and glued it to my hand - drawn background with 3D - pads.

Colors I used:

Kimono: BG10, BG23, BG49, V09, BV02
               Flowers: R59, R85, RV02, RV000
               Leaves: G14, Y17, G28

Hair: 100, C7, BV02, V05, C5, C3
          Flowers: R59, R85, R02, RV000 YR31,
                         YR15, YR07

Skin: FS2, YR00, R02, R85, RV02

Eyes & Shoes: E43, E25, E79

Mask: R85, R59, C3

Background: E43, E25, EV000, RV02, R22, BG10

A sideway fiew on the card, to show the dimensionality....

... the little diecut flowers are from "Tattered Lace", the branches at the background from "Memory Box".....

.... and the grass boarder is a diecut from "Joy!Crafts".

The lettering die - cut is from "kesi'art".

If you didn't visit the Showcase Blog yet, so you absolutely have to do so - otherwise you would miss all the beautiful creations my team mates did with this adorable image!

And if you now want to color "Little Kitsune Anko" on your own, you can get her at the Aurora Wings Etsy Shop (aswell as many, many other amazing images ;-) )

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - have a nice day and carpe diem (maybe for crafting? ;-) )

Fairytale Stampers Challenge #54 - "Lieblingsstempel / Favorite Stamp"

Hallo, meine lieben Leserinnen....

"Reverie" - A brand new Aurora Wings digistamp release!

Hello out there!

It's been very quiet here again for a few weeks.
Doesn't mean, I wasn't crafting - just had too less time to show you my projects I made :-(

But today I'm back with a card I made for the latest showcase at Aurora Wings Showcase Blog, using the brand - new digi - image "Reverie"!

It was really fussy to color this detailed image, the one I used for my card is only 10cmx8cm.

I'm a little background - creating junkie *lol*, and so when I first saw the linart of this image, I immediately had a vision in my head of a magical forest glade, where you have a sneak peek from a hidden place to the fairy moth, enjoying some warm sunrays on a warm spring or early summerday...
(Wishful thinking while looking at the cold and wet April weather outside..... *brrr*)

And so I created this scene with my card:

Copic Ciao and Spectrum Noir colors I've used:

Background: 100, G14, CG2, CG1, Y11, YG91 (CC), C7, DG3 (SN)

Roses and her hair: YR00, YR02, RV000, Y11, Ro5, R59 (CC)

Grass and Plants: YG91, YG67 (CC)

Skin: E37, E35, E33, E21, YR02, YR00, R00 (CC)

Wings: R59, R05, YR00, YR02, LG1, YG41, G21, G28, YG23 (CC)

... some handmade paper flower at the bottom left corner....

The big swirl cutting dies are from "Crafts too you"....

I added some "frantage" embossing powder "aged ivory" and little rhinestones to the corners of the image layer

(Cutting die: Crealies)

... the stamped sentiment is from Kaisercraft..

Please take also a look at the gorgeous samples my team mates at the Aurora Wings Showcaseblog made for you, it's a real pleasure to see all the different ways to design this image!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

And now, I'm enjoying some sorely needed days off from work... Maybe, I can blog a little bit more often for the next few days.. ;-)

Hugs,
xx Karola xx
