It's already time for another new challenge at the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog , and this time let's
"Say it with Flowers"!
For this challenge I made an example card for you using "Girl Flower Butterfly".
For the card base, I used turquoise colored cardstock and formed it with a cutting die from Crealies.
The little butterfly was printed out and hand-cut, die flowers in the background where made with a cutting die from Memory Box (first cut them out from dark brown cardstock, then another cut with rose-colored card stock an hand-cut the flowers to put them on the brown stems.)
The image was colored with Copi Ciao Markers, using the colors E18, V04, RV21, YR15, E11, YR68, E33, E000, R00, Y17, Y11, C-5, R85, Y21, RV06, BG23, E35
and Spectrum Noir Markers, using the colors GT1, GT2 (for the background)
I also used some copic cleaner and colorless blender for the drops on the background.
For some detail, I added some pearls with pearl pen to some areas of the image.
More Flowers!! :-)
To the left under corner, I addedsome paperflowers using different colors, which are also can be find in the colored image.
.... And because, this card is for my mum for mother's day (thank god she doesn't have internet and don't look at my blog, so it's going to be a surprise yet ;-) ), I sticked this little printed tag to the right under corner - the text means "Love and kisses for mother's day".
So, please show us what you have to "Say (it) with flowers", and let us see your beautiful creations on the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog!
For more inspiration, please visit the blogs of the other DT - members - you'd be surprised of all the stunning examples they made for you!!
Thank you so much for stopping by, and have fun with our new challenge :-)
Hugs,
