Creepy little Steampunk Girl....

Hello my dear followers....!


Halloween is getting nearer, and so I felt I must to do something darker... Yes, that's right, I'm not just able to do cute cards :-D :-D


For this one, I deverted this beautiful "Steampunk Girl" from Aurora Wings into a darkside one...
Maybe a vampire?... Or just a ghost of the past?
Somehow, I had to think of "Claudia", the girl vampire at the movie "Interview with the vampire"..


But enough said, here is my card ;-)

The colored image is sized 10,5x8cm, the card is about 14x14cm.
I've colored her with Copic Ciao Markers.




The edges where distressed, and for the "blood" I used some red acrylic paint.

.... a little close - up on her face and red glowing eyes.......

For the clocks I used "CrafTables" cutting dies from Marianne Design.

On the dry-embossed parts of the big clock I worked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain, on the smaller one I used silver embossing powder.

The blood is also done with red acrylic paint, in addition I added some glossy accents for a threedimensional effekt on the blood drops.

.... Hand cut and rolled paper roses, and the craft papered ornament at the background is hand - drawn and handcut with a scalpel.....

.... The gears are made with cutting dies from "X-Cut".




























This part of a poem from Edgar Allan Poe ("Spirits of the dead") seemed to be perfect for the scroll I added.

The edges where distressed with Tim Holtz paper distresser and Distress Ink Walnut Stain.














I hope you like my card, even if it's a little bit creepy ;-)
Sometimes, my dark soul wants to come out :-D

"Blumen/Band" "Flowers/Ribbon" - Challenge #45 Fairytale Stampers Challengeblog

Guten Morgen meine Lieben!



 Nicht nur an den Kindern merkt man, wie die Zeit rennt (sagt man ja immer so schön :-) ) - sondern auch daran, dass es schon wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei den Fairytale Stampers ist!!

Das heisst, es sind schon wieder 3 Wochen wie im Flug vergangen... Wow, wo will die Zeit nur hin??


Diesmal möchten wir auf euren Werken gerne "Blumen und Band" sehen!

Dieses Kärtchen habe ich für eine liebe Freundin zum Geburtstag gestaltet, und da kam mir dieses tolle Motiv unseres Sponsors gerade recht - ist doch Klasse für einen Mädelsgeburtstag, oder? :-D

Coloriert habe ich mit Spectrum Noir Markern:
Wein, rotes Top, rote Schuhe, Ohrringe: DR7, DR6, DR1, DR4, CR7
Weinflasche, Schattierungen:
JG6, JG3, JG1, IG10, IG8, IG5, IG3, IG1
Pinkfarbenes Top: BP7, PP6, PP4
Blaues Top:
IB3, IB1
Haare links: GB8, TN9, EB8
Haare mitte: GB1, GB5, TN9
Haare rechts: DR7, DR6, CR7
Haut: FS1, FS3, TN2

Der Schriftzug ist von Toga, ich habe ihn mit Frantage Embossing Pulver Shabby Pink hitzeembosst.

Die kleinen Glitzerblümchen sind so "Bling it" Aufkleber von Basic Grey.

... noch ein kleines Sträußchen aus Papierrosen von Marianne Design.
Ein Blumenstrauß zum Geburtstag ist ja ein Muss, oder? :-D














So meine Lieben, das war's auch schon wieder von mir.

Ready for Halloween? - New digi release "Happy Halloween" at Aurora Wings Showcaseblog!

Hello, dear followers :-)




Today there's another new digistamp release over at Aurora Wings Showcaseblog, the supercute "Happy Halloween" kitty!

Awww, it was so fun to work with!
Take a look at the little paper - pumpkin I made for your inspiration:

For the embossing I used an embossing folder by "Darice", "Scrolls Background".











Here's a close up of the cute little kitty :-)



I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and Copic Ciao markers. Unfortunately, I didn't list the numbers of the markers I used, I'm sorry! :-/



 For the grass I used a die cut from "Joy Crafts".






























The leaves stamp is from "Folia", I colored them with Copic Ciao markers.




Inside the pumpkin, I placed a little tealight - a battery-operated one, of course! ;-)





















Totally unusual to me - this fall decoration was really made from ME for MYSELF!
Can't believe that *lol*
Usually I just do craftings for others, and I'm pinched from time to make something for my own :-D



So, this brings a little bit light to my small fall decoration area in our living room :-D

Challenge #37 at "Pile it on" Challengeblog - "Flowers and / or feathers"

Hello my dear friends!


Today there's a new challenge going on at the Pile it on challengeblog, and we, the members of the Aurora Wings Showcaseblog where kindly invited to show our creations for the current theme

there, because our very talented Mitzi Sato Wiuff from Aurora Wings is sponsoring this challenge!

And this is what I made for:

 

I thought, Mitzi's "New Beginnings" would be the perfect image for this theme, flowers and feathers allover :-D



I colored this beauty with Copic Ciao Markes, for though I love my Spectrum Noirs, in this case the Copics worked much better because of the brush nibs.

My card is sized 15x10cm, so you can imagine, some details are really small (like the flower crown in her hair)

I used different shades of colors for her hair.....

.... and many different colors in blues, greens, yellows and reds for the beautiful phoenix.

Overall, I kept this card pretty simple, I wanted to set the main focus on the image.

But I added some small real feathers to the tops of the peacock feathers........

.... and three little handmade paper flowers to the corner.

So I hope, you like my inspirational card for the Pile it on challenge, and you would play along with them :-)

My card for Aurora Wings Showcase Blog, new image released: Zombie Puppy

Hello dear readers!


Today I'm gonna show you my inspirational card for Mitzi Sato Wiuff's new digi - release at Aurora Wings Showcaseblog!


This time, it's going a little bit creepy..... Beware of the Zombie Puppy!!!

Isn't he cute? :-D


This image inspired me for doing my very first Halloween card - I never did one before!
(Even though I like Halloween, but it isn't celebrated here in Germany so much - and less then ever here in our little village :-D )



But I think, it turned out ok - what do you think...? ;-)

I colored the puppy with a mix of Spectrum Noir Markers and Copic Ciao's:


Spectrum Noir Markers:
LV1, LV2, LV3, IG2, GG1, GG3, GG4, CG1, CG2, CG4

Copic Ciao Markers:
YR3, YR00, Y38, YR68, R22, R27, RV29, R59, G05, YG67


I also used some white gel pen for the highlights on the eyes and some areas of the fur and the bones.

The backgroundpapers where free digipapers (I didn't have any Halloween stuff here in my stash, so I had to extemporize a little bit ;-) )


The black tree is hand drawn and also hand cut, I added some cotton to make it look like fog oder spiderwebs between the branches (so my cosmetics pads became a new appointment as I don't use them for cosmetics... don't use that very often :-D :-D )


With some red pigment ink I stamped a trail of blood on the background (Stamps: Joy!Crafts).

Die cut: Memory Box.

I applied some grey pigment ink to it, and made a little mirror out of the cutted out oval and some aluminum foil.

Stamp: Mias Stempelküche.

I distressed the edges and added some Memento Rhubarb Stalk Ink to give them a bloody look.


The grass - die cut at the background is from Joy!Crafts, I made it out from grey paper and added a little bit Memento Tuxedo Black.

Ok.
Maybe there was ONE little thing I had in my stash for Halloween theme - this little plastic spider seemed to be perfect for this card :-D

Fairytale Stampers Challenge #44 - Lieblingsstanze / Favorite cutting die

Hallo meine Lieben!


Es ist wieder soweit - unglaublich schnell gingen schon wieder 3 Wochen vorbei, und es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei den Fairytale Stampers! 


Diesmal wollen wir von euch sehen, was ihr so mit eurer Lieblingsstanze zaubert!


Gesponsert werden wir dieses Mal von  The Stamping Boutique, ihr könnt mit etwas Glück 3 Digis eurer Wahl gewinnen!
..... Wenn ihr auf eurem Werk ein Motiv von The Stamping Boutique verwendet habt, und das Glück habt von Mr. Random ausgelost zu werden, dürft ihr euch sogar 4 Digis aussuchen!!



Lieblingsstanzen habe ich ja viele, aber eine davon ist definitiv "Chloe Stem" von Memory Box.
Diese habe ich auf meinem Inspirationswerk für euch verwendet:

Ich finde diese Stanze einfach toll, und sie passte in diesem Fall auch wunderbar zum Hintergrundpapier von Action :-)

Mein Stempelmotiv von Papermania aus dem Set "Woodland Folk" habe ich mit Memento Jet Black Stempelkissen abgestempelt und mit Spectrum Noir Markern coloriert.

Wellenkreisstanzen: X-Cut.
Stempel: Artemio.

Das Schildchen habe ich mit Stanzschablonen von Quickutz gestanzt, der Spruch stammt aus dem WOJ Stempelset "general sayings II".

Das "Kärtchen" habe ich für eine liebe Arbeitskollegin gewerkelt, die damit die ehemalige Klassenlehrerin ihrer Jüngsten überraschen wollte.

Das tolle Gedicht dafür stammt aus der Feder der Mama einer ganz, ganz lieben Freundin von mir - supertoll gedichtet, ich würde das nie so schön hinbekommen :-)

In der Karte sollte ausserdem viel Platz sein für die Unterschriften aller Schüler und Schülerinnen der Klasse, und auch ein paar persönliche Worte sollten noch mit hineingeschrieben werden.

Deshalb lässt sich die Karte nochmal auseinanderklappen......

..... und nocheinmal..... :-)

Kärtchen mit "La Fée Verte" von Aurorawings - allerdings nicht in grün :-)

Hallo meine Lieben :-)


Da bin ich auch schon wieder mit einem neuen Werk.

Ich hatte mal wieder große Lust etwas Komplexeres zu colorieren, und dafür eignete sich der Digistempel "La Fèe Verte" von Aurora Wings nur zu gut.


Allerdings habe ich die "Grüne Fee" so garnicht grün coloriert, denn von der Natur inspiriert war mir mehr nach Herbstfarben (ok, der graue Nebel war wohl auch ein wenig mit im Spiel :-D )

.... und diesmal habe ich NICHT mit den Spectrums coloriert........ :-)

Ich habe meine Farbpalette um insgesamt 80 Copic Ciao Marker erweitert..... :-D

Und NEIN, bei mir ist NICHT der Wohlstand ausgebrochen, und ich habe auch NICHT im Lotto gewonnen *lach*
Nein, es war eher so, dass ich ja schon lange, lange, lange überlegt habe, mir nach und nach noch ein paar Copics zuzulegen - und bei Ebay Kleinanzeigen fand ich durch Zufall dieses Angebot - 80 Stifte, ein halbes Jahr alt, wenig gebraucht - 110 Euro incl. Versand.....!

Zwar immer noch jede Menge Geld, aber ein für die Copics ein unschlagbarer Preis.
Und so habe ich mir halt selber ein vorgezogenes Geburtstagsgeschenk gemacht *kicher*

Und wenn ich mir angucke, in welchen kleinen Dimensionen ich nun arbeiten kann - und das mit trotzdem 3-4 verschiedenen Farbabstufungen auch bei den kleinen Blüten!


Diesen Kauf bereue ich auf keinen Fall :-D


Und vor allem lassen sich beide Markersorten auch einwandfrei miteinander mischen!

Durch die bereits recht aufwändige Coloration habe ich mich ansonsten mit der weiteren Deko etwas zurückgehalten.

Zwei gestanzte Ziffernblätter (Marianne Design, die Ränder habe ich mit Distress Ink Walnut Staind gewischt)........

..... und ansonsten kam nur noch ein Schriftstempel von Whiff of Joy zum Einsatz.











Für die Coloration alleine habe ich übrigens schon 5 Stunden gebraucht. Allerdings auf 2 Tage, da die Konzentration doch mit der Zeit etwas nachlässt :-D

Ich hoffe, mein blumiges Kärtchen gefällt euch :-)
